Terms of Service
Version 2026-07-20-v2.1-draft-counsel-review · Effective draft dated July 17, 2026
Draft status and agreement
This launch draft is provided for product readiness and must be reviewed by qualified counsel before publication. By creating or using an account, you agree to the version presented at acceptance and any role-specific business agreement that applies.
Using Clipsper
Clipsper provides account, discovery, appointment, customer-management, portfolio, review, notification, and business-assistant tools for customers, barbers, and shops. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use the service lawfully.
Age and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create a business account. A shop applicant certifies that they own or are authorized to manage the submitted business. Licensed barbers certify that submitted professional-license information belongs to them. Students and apprentices must identify that status accurately.
Appointments and shop policies
Shops and barbers are responsible for service descriptions, availability, pricing, professional services, and applicable licenses. Customers are responsible for accurate booking details and for following the live cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, deposit, or prepayment policy shown before confirmation. Disabled policies are not part of a booking.
Payments
Stripe processes card details and connected-account payouts. Clipsper does not ask users to provide Stripe secret keys or banking credentials. Customer policy fees may be routed to an eligible barber or shop connected account according to the shop’s payout setting. Clipsper subscription charges are separate. Platform commissions are not charged unless a future, separately disclosed configuration says otherwise.
Refunds and disputes
Customers may request a full or partial refund from an eligible appointment record. The business reviews the request and may issue a Stripe refund or record a refund completed outside Stripe. Card refunds can take additional business days to appear. Nothing here limits chargeback, statutory refund, or consumer-protection rights. Shops remain responsible for the services they provide and for responding accurately and promptly.
Content and communications
You retain responsibility for profile text, images, reviews, responses, messages, and other submitted content. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful material. You authorize transactional email, push, and in-app notifications needed to operate bookings and accounts; optional preferences can be changed in account settings. Transactional text messages require a separate, clearly presented consent and are not authorized merely by accepting these Terms. Marketing text consent, if offered later, will remain separate and optional. You may reply STOP to opt out of ordinary text messages and HELP for help.
Community safety
Reviews and responses must reflect genuine experiences. Users may report harassment, hate, sexual content, spam, fraud, privacy violations, or other abuse. Clipsper may hide, preserve, investigate, or remove content and may restrict accounts. Business users can block an abusive reviewer from future bookings; this feature must not be used for unlawful discrimination or retaliation against good-faith feedback.
Intellectual property
Clipsper and its software, branding, and platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You grant Clipsper a non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, format, and display your submitted content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content.
Suspension and termination
Clipsper may restrict accounts to protect users, investigate fraud, respond to license or payment restrictions, or enforce these Terms. Account deletion requests remain subject to lawful retention of payment, appointment, tax, dispute, security, and audit evidence.
Disputes; warranties; limitation
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Clipsper is a software platform and is not the provider of barbering services. Governing-law, venue, arbitration and opt-out language, warranty exclusions, liability caps, indemnity, insurance requirements, and required consumer-law exceptions remain explicit counsel-review items and are not represented as final in this draft.
Changes and contact
Material new versions may require a new acceptance while earlier acceptance evidence is retained. Questions may be sent to legal@clipsper.com.
